These steps will help you clean your toilet properly

  1. Cleaning the exterior of your toilet is important to do first. Spray Lysol toilet cleaner or a similar toilet spray cleaner underneath your toilet and on the sides of the commode.
  2. Spray the gap between the toilet seat and the septic tank, then work your way up the tank and on to the top of the septic tank.
  3. Next, spray the outside and inside of the septic tank lid.
  4. Next, spray on the outside and inside of the toilet seat.
  5. Finally, spray the toilet's flush handle and wipe it down with a dry cloth making sure that it's wet for at least five minutes before it air dries.
